Ee Choon has 19 years of experience in audit and assurance engagements across a wide range of industries, working with start ups and private companies, as well as large multinational and listed companies on the SGX Mainboard, SGX Catalist Board, and AIM. He has extensive experience leading cross-border engagements, including coordinating audits performed by overseas component auditors and managing group reporting processes.
Ee Choon has deep expertise in complex accounting and reporting matters, including business combinations, hedge accounting, lease accounting, service concession arrangements, and asset valuations. He also has hands on experience with initial public offerings (IPOs) engagements.
In addition to leading audit engagements, Ee Choon is part of the firm’s audit technical team, providing consultation and guidance on audit related technical matters across the firm.
He has worked with clients across a broad range of sectors, including energy and utilities, trading, marine, technology, retail and wholesale, real estate and construction, manufacturing and fabrication, and non-profit organisations.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Ee Choon spent 10 years with a Big 4 accounting firm.
